[1934-1950]: Editora Guanabara, Waissmann Koogan Ltda., Rio de Janeiro
Obras completas de Stefan Zweig, 1934-1950. 20 vols. The first edition of the Collected Works does not have a general title. The second and third editions, however, bear the title: Obras Completas de Stefan Zweig. The volumes were published independently in paperback editions. New editions: Edição uniforme das Obras de Stefan Zweig. 20 vols. Rio de Janeiro: Editora Guanabara, 1953 [Reprinted 1963] and simultaneously Rio de Janeiro: Editora Delta, 1953 [Reprinted 1963]. I wish to express my heartfelt gratitude to my friend Alberto Dines of São Paulo, Brazil, who so generously presented me with a copy of this Edição uniforme das Obras de Stefan Zweig! Although the pagination of the individual volumes in the various hardback editions is generally more or less the same, unless otherwise indicated the pagination data below refers to the 1953 Delta edition
