These films are based either on Zweig's novellas or on his life. Much of the information provided below was contributed in the fall of 2016 by Kelsea Halloran, Lorissa Woss, and Morgan Sleight who wrote a seminar paper on the films of Stefan Zweig's works. As of 2016 all three were still undergraduate students at the State University of New York at Fredonia. Kelsea Halloran graduated in 2018, Lorissa Woss and Morgan Sleight graduated in 2017.
