Pages 16-18 contain sentences extracted from the Portuguese translation of the lecture "L'unité spirituelle du monde", delivered by Stefan Zweig in the Instituto Nacional de Música, Rio de Janeiro, on 27 August 1936. The lecture was translated into Portuguese by João Luso and printed under the title "A unidade espiritual do mundo" in the Jornal do Commercio [Rio de Janeiro], 13 September 1936
