This volume also contains dozens of letters from Joseph Roth to some 38 friends and acquaintances, especially Benno Reifenberg, his mother-in-law Jenny Reichler, Félix Bertaux, René Schickele, Carl Seelig, and some 52 letters to his French translator Blanche Gidon.
