"Xu" in Ba'erzhake zhuan [T'aipei 1980], No. 1, pp. 1-4 [A foreword to this volume]. The first two pages of this foreword appeared in the Taiwanese newspaper Lianhe bao [T'aipei], 15 September 1980. It is a disucssioin of the series in which this volumes appears [Mingren weiren zhuanji quanji] and it contains a listing of all the volumes that had been printed in the series as of 1980
