This is an announcement of the recent translation of two of Stefan Zweig's novellas, "Brief einer Unbekannten" and "Phantastische Nacht", by the Syrian translator Amānī Lāzār. The translation of "Brief einer Unbekannten" is the latest of several Arabic retranslations this novella has seen during the last decades. Both translations are published by a newcomer in the Arabic publishing field, the Kuwaiti publishing house Dār al-Khān:
